Profhilo Injections for Bio Remodelling

If you're worried that your skin looks looser, more stretchy, dry, or wrinkly, then a Profhilo treatment could be ideal for you. Profhilo injections are fantastic for improving skin texture, reducing laxity and improving the ‘snapback' feeling of your skin.

It’s a non-surgical, non-invasive way to infuse 100% Hyaluronic acid into your skin for a dewy, airbrushed look. Profhilo is a unique remodelling process that can help improve your natural face contours, making the skin tighter and more luminous.

What are profhilo injections?

Profhilo is an injectable skin bio-remodelling treatment that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin and helps to significantly improve tissue quality. Profhilo contains high levels of hyaluronic acid, which naturally occurs in our skin. Hyaluronic acid helps your skin look more hydrated, plump, fresher, younger-looking and improves overall skin tone.

Profhilo injection procedure: What to expect

When you arrive, Dr Lesego will carry out a full consultation addressing your skin concerns. She'll talk you through the procedure and ensure that Profhilo is suitable for your skin.

Before the procedure, Dr Lesego will apply numbing cream to the face to ensure there is minimal discomfort. Next, the product is injected into five specific areas on each side of the face. This targeted treatment has been proven to offer better results.

You may experience slight discomfort or stinging while the product is being injected, but this clears quickly. Since the treatment is injected just beneath the skin, small lumps may appear on the face after the treatment. However, these little lumps generally only last between 3-24 hours.
